She is currently the General Manager of INJAZ Palestine. Prior to joining INJAZ, Ms. Kutteneh worked as Civil Society Facilitator and Capacity Building Advisor at the International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Secretariat in occupied Palestine. Ms. Kutteneh supported civil society organizations capacity development and encouraged the development of networks and partnerships on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law.
Prior to joining the IHL and HR Secretariat, Ms. Kutteneh held the position key expert- Deputy Team Leader for the “Civil Society Regional Program” at the European Commission in Brussels focusing on strengthening the institutional capacity of civil society in the Southern Mediterranean countries. Before moving to Brussels, Ms. Kutteneh held the position of Director of Programs for the Palestinian NGO network, and directed the “National Campaign for the Defense of Civil Liberties and Human Rights and the Restoration of National Unity” in Palestine. As a result, of this collective effort, Ms. Kutteneh received the French Republic Human Rights Award in 2009. Ms. Kutteneh worked in many international organizations where she supervised many developmental projects.
Ms. Kutteneh holds a BA in English Literature and Journalism from Bethlehem University, as well as an International Masters in European Studies-Policy Advisor and Project Consultant from Belgium.
