The Project of (Programming) with “SAP” International

INJAZ held this partnership with “SAP” international to carry out a project that will be implemented in Palestinian schools. It aims at providing Palestinian children and youth with basic programming skills through simulation using the “Scratch” project.  This will provide a unique environment for the participants to develop their programming and creative talents from which they will benefit by building impressive animation.

During the training sessions, students work together to achieve specific projects. They learn to plan, design and share their works, and are encouraged to present and explain the works they have done to their fellow participants. The project provides the student with the opportunity to discover his capabilities and interests, which can lead him to be a future programmer in a digital world characterized by empowerment and adventure at the same time.

Opinions of Participants

The volunteer Walaa Abu Tahoun: “The Scratch program is of great importance when it comes to learning programming. It helps beginners to overcome the difficulties embedded in the languages of traditional programming, and encourages them to design and implement their own innovations without having any technical worries. Apart from this, the step of learning the programming language at an early age makes students fully prepared to go through the stage of their secondary high school education, and enables them to understand different programming languages without facing any difficulty. The students gain therefore many necessary skills that will help them succeed in the future. Thank you INJAZ Palestine for giving our students this opportunity and for giving us the opportunity to train them”.
