The Launching of “improving the School’s Environment” initiative as part of UNICEF initiative

“Improving the school’s environment” was the initiative that eleventh grade students from Al-Fadliah Secondary School in Tulkarem implemented under the supervision of volunteer Wissam Hijjawi from the National Beverage Company. It was a part of a collective effort to provide a safe environment for students as well as to encourage them to participate in maintenance and painting work inside the school.

This initiative is part of a joint UNICEF-INJAZ project. Its aim is to empower young people economically and develop their productive capabilities hoping that this will help create opportunities for them to enter the job market.

The initiative is also part of the program that INJAZ carries out with West Bank schools, to develop the students’ abilities in entrepreneurship, and help provide them with the knowledge and tools necessary to manage the available resources while taking into consideration the needs of the surrounding environment.
