“Improving the School’s Environment” project with the Arab Bank

The Arab Bank funded and supervised this project, while INJAZ Palestine implemented it in cooperation with the ministry of education. During the past five years, 28 schools benefited from the implementation of the project.

INJAZ implemented the program in several stages. It began with the repairing and renovation of some facilities in the schools that were chosen for the implementation of the project. The aim of this program is to provide students with a safe environment and help the ministry of education in creating a good educational and healthy environment for the students hoping that this will have a positive sustainable impact on society in general and on students in particular.

During the implementation of the project, INJAZ volunteers delivered training courses for the teaching staff of the participating schools to help them develop their skills in the fields of communication and interconnection and improve their teaching performance. The students of these schools were also given training in entrepreneurial and leadership skills under the supervision of volunteers from the Arab Bank, which promotes and embodies social responsibility among the bank’s employees as part of the Arab Bank’s social responsibility program, which can be seen in the framework of supporting the educational sector within the “Ma’an” program.
