ORGAROOTS

In 2019, students from al-Fadilya Secondary School for Boys, in Tulkarem, established the company ORGAROOTS, with the aim of producing natural cultured feeds, as an alternative to artificial fodder.

The product is (cultured barley) that contains important vitamins and minerals to feed livestock such as, proteins, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, vitamin E, vitamin B, vitamin C, and is characterized by ease of digestion and high rates of nutritional conversion, and works to reduce the incidence of diseases in animals.

The students worked under the supervision of volunteer Bilal Abu Sha’er from the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tulkarem.
