A Positive Bassma” Imprint

The cooperation of the student company team was in itself a success story, which represented a significant moment in the lives of the female students and which will certainly remain so during the coming stages of their lives. As for “Sima”, it was a turning point in her life, on all levels, psychologically and socially, whether at home, school or society. During the two semesters, while simultaneously participating in the student company, Sima’s academic performance improved significantly, and her relationship with her colleagues and her teachers became much better. At home, she was able to make a balance between studying and entertaining herself, and helping her family and visiting relatives instead of wasting time sleeping or watching TV and quarrelling with her older and younger brothers and sisters.

The effects of positive change appeared later when Sima took the decision of turning her experience into a success story, as she started a small project from inside the house. She began to transform unused coins, metal pieces and old accessories into new nicely designed pieces that people can use and wear in a newly attractive and simple way. She benefited from her time while keeping the costs of her production low and succeeded in generating a small income. However, the moral benefit was greater and more valuable than the material one.

This was Sima’s success story, which she was able to achieve after joining the student company course offered by INJAZ Palestine.
