Aiming to strengthen cooperation… INJAZ Palestine meets with Minister of Labor Dr. Nasri Abu Jaish

INJAZ Palestine held a meeting at the Ministry of Labor to discuss ways of cooperation. Present in the meeting were Dr. Nasri Abu Jaish, Minister of Labor, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Bassam Walweel, INJAZ General Manager Rania Kutteneh, and Chairman of the Board of Directors at the college of al-Khawarizmi, Dr. Muhammad Qaddumi.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss possible ways to increase the cooperation between the two parties to enable Palestinian youth, especially in light of the current business environment conditions, to overcome the complexities, challenges and difficult circumstances they are encountering, helping them, as a result, to find decent work.

Walweel stressed the importance of developing relations between INJAZ and the Ministry of Labor, and working together in order to enhance the capabilities of Palestinian youth, and refine their skills to enable them enter the business world and compete for various jobs. On his part, Minister of Labor, Dr. Nasri Abu Jaish, praised INJAZ efforts in supporting young people and in preparing them to enter the job market, reiterating the ministry’s full readiness to cooperate with INJAZ and activate the role of the operating fund in any subsequent joint activities between the two parties.

On the other hand, Rania Kutteineh stressed that INJAZ Palestine works annually to train more than 50 thousand students in West Bank and Gaza schools. She went on emphasizing the central importance of INJAZ Palestine in providing the program of work readiness, which equips students with the necessary skills that would help them achieve success in their professional and career path.
