Maharat min Google

Maharat min Google

INJAZ Palestine, in cooperation with Google Arabia, carries out training workshops entitled “Maharat min Google” for high school and university students, over a period of 3 consecutive hours for a course approved and accredited by Google Inc. specializing in the field of digital marketing.

The project aims at bridging the growing gap between the constituents of the workforce and the skills required in the market, and this program endeavors to help Arabic speakers, especially women and the youth among them, to acquire the skills necessary to take advantage of future job opportunities, improve their career and develop their businesses.

The program was implemented through complimentary (free of charge) direct training sessions to develop the digital skills of students, teachers, companies and job seekers. This is in addition, to providing them with digital marketing skills, which include marketing on the search engine, the social media, and via the video, in addition to e-commerce and other topics.

During the project, INJAZ Palestine reached out to remote villages and besieged areas to direct the attention of the Palestinian youth towards the digital market hoping that that may be, the ideal place for them to seize opportunities and establish new projects that will help them build their future. Volunteers with expertise in information technology and e marketing carried out the training.

Opinion of one of the participants

“I was keen on continuous learning, and on mastering my work so that I can be unique and distinctive. I am a novelist and I seek to publish the short stories that I write, and hope to have distinctive recognition in my society. Therefore, I looked for the sources that will enable me to develop my skills in publishing and in using the internet and the available digital means in the right way, so I joined the program Maharat min Google, (skills from Google), and what I discovered was so exciting and beneficial and way beyond my expectations. I learned electronic marketing tools, which include using the search engine, social media, in addition to e-commerce and other topics. Today, I am on top of all the digital skills necessary not only to enable me publish my stories and writings, but I managed to get a small financial return through selling my publications”.
